Exciting Book-y News & Updates!

Hi hi hi friends!!

I’m sorry that I’ve been kind of MIA – I’ve been super busy with my internship, trying to read more (and actually have some content to work with on this book blog!) and not get totally sucked into Love Island (which has failed, epically).

I usually try to spend a little bit of time each day going through my Reader and commenting/engaging with bloggers, but sometimes I find that once I start, it’s hard to stop. That usually ends with me spending at least two hours browsing blogs, which is just not super productive when done daily.

Regardless, I’m hoping to really dig deep into the bookish community this fall, as you guys make me so happy and I love interacting with other readers! It’s so nice to have found a community of people who love storytelling as much as I do.

So…that being said, I do have some (super exciting, in my own personal opinion) news: I’ve joined the team over at Bookstacked as a News Writer!

For those who haven’t heard of it (I honestly hadn’t until a few months ago), Bookstacked is a website dedicated to YA books. It has reviews on YA books, feature articles about fun bookish themes, and even a monthly podcast called Bookmarked.

As a news writer, I’ll be covering book news like new releases, upcoming movie/tv adaptations, and anything else that is relevant to our community! My very first article is already up, and I’m super proud of it. It’s right there on the front of the website! (;

Victoria Aveyard in talks to adapt upcoming YA fantasy series for film/television

I honestly love finding websites like this one – it’s refreshing to see digital content that focuses on reading instead of more modern forms of media. Seriously, if anyone has found any other websites that focus on books, please help a girl out!!

So, my friends, thank you for reading! I really do hope to be reading more and producing more content in the next few weeks, but first I need to actually crack open some books! (;
