Hi hi hi! I’m so happy that you found my little book oasis, Rins Reads. As you’ve probably guessed, I’m Erin! (:

I’ve been a crazy book girl ever since I can remember. As a kid, I devoured books like Junie B. Jones and Amelia Bedilia (and some good old classic picture books thrown in here and there). In middle school, I dove into the worlds of Percy Jackson, Gregor the Overlander, and yes, even explored good ole’ Forks, Washington in Twilight (was I ready for a vampire love triangle at age 12? TBD). Throughout high school, I inhaled YA contemporary (can anyone say angst), and immersed myself in the world of YA and adult fantasy throughout my years in college. Currently, my favorite genres include adult fiction, romance, and fantasy!

My goal for this little corner of the internet is to use my passion for reading and storytelling to make this world a more diverse, compassionate, and exciting place. I’d like this blog to become a place to share my experiences through storytelling, and maybe even meet some like-minded book friends along the way!

An Illinois native, I moved to Indianapolis, Indiana, a few years ago and now I currently work in marketing and communications. When I’m not reading, I can usually be found exploring Indy, enjoying a drink on the patio of a local restaurant, or curled up in bed with a new show and a cup of chamomile tea.
